During Covid he maintained his daily routine (from 2020 to 2022) which established the Victoria Park outdoor chess activity, the only chess activity outdoors in Kitchener at the time. Tony made me a coffee the old fashioned way (just like my grandmother used to make) - dump the grounds in a pot in cold water on the stove and heat until almost boiling over, lift and repeat, lift and repeat.
